Local translation
Countries have the possibility to adapt content to local requirements. The correctness and completeness of any local changes are the responsibility of the local marketing organizations. Some elements must remain in English, as they are language independent and tied to the Midea brand (see table).
Back translation into English of local translations are subject to approval by HQ.
When localizing product information watch out for:
•Avoid false claims and legal issues
•The copy is in line with brand identity and the overall Brand Guidelines
•In bilingual countries the content is the same for both languages
•Trademarks and branded features remain unchanged
•Disclaimers are still valid and available where needed
•Add any relevant local information (local awards, promotions etc.)
